María Moure

María is a GIS specialist and architect who holds an B.S.+M.S. in Architecture from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a M.S. in Geographic Information System from Univesitat Politécnica de Catalunya.

During the last few years, she has applied GIS, to land planning, urban management, and the environment. Her working methodology includes spatial analysis, cartography, and data visualization, aimed at developing diagnoses and planning urban-territorial strategies that are more sustainable and sensitive to the ecosystem.

Maria has experience in working with public and private organizations, including several large-scale projects such as the Metropolitan Statistical Scope Indicators, the Green Infrastructure Gravity Model of the Barcelona metropolitan area, and the design and implementation in a GIS environment of the Integral transformation of public spaces in the neighborhoods of Qurtubah & Al-Jazeerah.
